What to Expect from your Cheek Augmentation
For cheek augmentation, we normally use Juvéderm™ VOLUMA™ or Restylane DEFYNE because of their excellent gel characteristics, and long lasting results.
All of the products we use contain some local anaesthetic built into the filler – which makes the procedure more comfortable. For the most sensitive and anxious patients, we also have the option of applying topical anaesthetic before the injection.
Most patients at the earlier stages of ageing will require a minimum of 2mls of filler for a satisfactory correction. If you have more advanced ageing or volume loss then you will likely need more than this however we will discuss the volume requirements as part of your initial consultation.
