While a significant number of our male patients come into the clinic and admit they are dissatisfied with their appearance – many of them cannot pinpoint why. It’s just a lovely clinic. Everyone is very professional and it feels very high end, so you know you’re in safe hands, but they’re also friendly, welcoming and warm which really matters when visiting as it helps you feel at ease & relaxed.

Common Questions
What are the benefits?
Treatment with dermal fillers benefits the male face in various ways. In restoring the soft tissues that have atrophied (shrunk) over time, they can help to restore a well-defined face shape, therefore supporting the features and enlivening the appearance. By underpinning the facial anatomy, they also have a preventative benefit and can help to prevent further slackening of the tissues over time.
Which anaesthetic is used?
We use dermal fillers which contain a local anaesthetic known as lidocaine, which helps to reduce discomfort – while use of a topical numbing cream can be of benefit for patients who are anxious.
What's the downtime?
Post-procedure, you may see a bit of swelling and the area will feel tender – however, this has normally passed by the next morning. Most patients who have dermal fillers are back to their normal activities the same day. We also encourage patients to sleep with their head elevated for the first few nights following the procedure, to keep any swelling to a minimum.
When will I see results?
The effect is subtle yet immediate: the face looks firmer, the bone structure stronger and the skin smoother. However, the best results are seen in two weeks’ time, when the filler has fully integrated with the tissue and the face has settled.
