Our gynaecology services are expertly provided by Dr. Iain Martin, an accomplished consultant gynaecologist known for his outstanding bedside manner and genuine passion for advocating women’s health. Dr. Martin is a pioneer in ambulatory gynaecology procedures in Scotland and has collaborated with our team to establish Scotland’s first private ambulatory gynaecology service.

First contact

When you first make contact with us your enquiry will be handled by your personal Patient Relationship Manager, who is trained with specialist knowledge in gynaecology issues and can answer most of the initial questions you have before you make your first appointment.

Consultations

We provide expert consultations for a variety of gynaecological issues, ensuring a thorough understanding of your symptoms, concerns, and treatment goals. Our consultation services include:

• Menopause Management: Guidance and treatment to help you navigate the physical and emotional challenges of menopause with confidence.
• Women’s Wellness Screening: A bespoke package of health screening investigations, tailored to your individual circumstances and goals, which may include ultrasound scanning, general wellness checks and blood tests for tumour markers.
• Heavy or Irregular Bleeding: Investigating and managing the underlying causes of abnormal bleeding patterns.
• Painful Periods: Identifying the reasons behind painful menstruation and offering effective relief.
• Uterine Fibroids: Diagnosis and management of fibroids, including minimally invasive treatment options.
• Uterine Polyps: A common cause of abnormal or unscheduled bleeding, these can be diagnosed and treated in our ambulatory gynaecology suite.
• Contraception services: insertion and removal of intrauterine coils, like the Mirena Coil.
