Arms

Patients who are concerned about their arms are predominantly focused on the tricep area, otherwise referred to as the dreaded “bingo wings”. This is because the upper arms are notoriously tricky to tone, and even frequent exercise does not always address the slackening tissue and fat deposits commonly found here. This is where our bespoke body contouring programmes can help. In combination with state-of-the-art technology, our unparalleled expertise in shaping the physique enables us to reduce bulk and restore definition – giving the arms a sleek and sculpted appearance.

Understanding the arms

In order to perform a safe and successful treatment, we need to be mindful of the underlying anatomy: for instance, the unique positioning of the fat pads, and the nerve supply at the armpit and elbow. However, it is also important to consider the surrounding areas – after all, the appearance of heavy upper arms can be enhanced by accumulated Back Fat and Bra Rolls. For this reason, a 360-degree approach is often required.

Tailor-made treatment

CoolSculpting is the gold-standard procedure for treating the arms. In order to treat the entirety of the upper arm, we overlap two treatment cycles and position the applicators strategically: one at the top of the arm, and one at the bottom. This ensures that the mid-section of the arm – the area where the majority of the fat lies – is treated twice, for an even greater aesthetic outcome. If the patient has very lax skin in this area, then additional treatment with Morpheus8 may also help to tighten the tissues.
